Ways that your PDR Company can better serve the Community: Axe-A-Dent
Small Businesses play an important role in their Community. Providing jobs, opportunities, services and goods are only a few ways that these companies help support their local communities. It is becoming more important to consumers that they find and work with companies that are involved with the local community and hold a great reputation with the locals. According to recent studies, supporting social issues has become an extremely important factor for customers who are searching for a company to work with. By partnering with other companies, schools, local organizations and fundraising events, your company creates a stronger bond within the community and takes part in it's growth and success. There are many different ways that small businesses contribute to these factors and serve the community.
Community Identity & Reputation:
As a small business, you have the ability and opportunity to interact with their neighbors on a personal and professional level. This is something that most large businesses are not able to do. With all of the unique products and services being offered, these small businesses really do shape the community and reflect its character, while building a reputation with the surrounding cities and communities. This helps to increase visitor traffic and brings a larger profit (more growth) to the community and local businesses.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Taking part in sponsorship opportunities within your community increases your exposure, benefits a cause or individual and helps to build a great reputation for you and your business. Find out what/who you can sponsor by calling your local schools, library, sports teams, foundations and charities. Many times, you are given the opportunity to sponsor an event or individual that will not only benefit a local charity and your local community, but bring your company a lot of exposure in a really positive way. Recently at Axe-A-Dent we chose to sponsor an upcoming golf tournament for our county Sheriffs Office. The proceeds of this event benefit High School kids by providing College Scholarships. This event is a great example of something fun, beneficial, within the community that also bring our local business great exposure and networking opportunities.
Local Events:
In almost every city and town, there is opportunity for advertising and networking from local events. These events might include Car Shows, Farmer's Markets, Fundraising Events, Business Networking Meet-Ups, Craft Shows, monthly or weekly Street Festivals and more! These events almost always allow vendors and business advertising for a small fee. These local affairs bring in a lot of traffic and visitors from nearby towns and locations. This is a fun and affordable way for your local business to get the word out and advertise, while meeting local residents, building relationships with other businesses and allowing your to hand out brochures, business cards and promotional merchandise, offer discounts for new customers and more!
